4th element: Competition Support

Together with sustainable management and targeted home training, direct competition warm-up on the warm-up area is essential for successful competition and long-term injury prevention. The horse and rider must be physically and mentally prepared for the upcoming challenges. For this purpose, a wide variety of moments must be observed during the immediate warm-up: What are the external conditions like? Does my horse generally need to be calmed or motivated? What is his daily form? What challenges do we face in the following course and in the days to come?

The well thought-out and situationally adapted competition warm-up is followed by a structured debriefing session as part of the competition support after the ride. Analyses directly after the course, as often seen on the shows, make now sense. Only when the rider has physically and mentally "come down" should the ride be analysed and discussed. Here I like to resort to visualisations with the help of video recordings.

Experiences in accompanying tournaments have shown me how the preparation can be done individually and in the best possible way. You can contact me about this. I will be happy to advise you: listening, competent and independent.
